Keep Your Leadership Afloat

APPCNC Presents: The First Annual Executive Director/Leadership Development Day

Join APPCNC and Special Guest Trainer Barbara Huberman for a day of Executive Leadership Development! Have you ever wondered if anyone else was experiencing the same issues that you're experiencing? Have you ever thought that "it must just be you?" Have you ever wished that there was a place where you could share your concerns without having to be worried that they'd get back to your staff? Well friends, have we got a training for you! This is your opportunity to network with your peers and get the answers you've been looking for.

What: Development and Support for Executive Directors or Anyone in the Leadership Role in Teen Pregnancy Organizations/Coalitions

When: Friday, March 14th

Time: 9:00am-4:00pm

Place: APPCNC Offices: 3708 Mayfair St. Suite 310, Durham, NC

Cost: $35.00 ( includes light breakfast and lunch)

Who: Barbara Huberman (from Advocates for Youth) and You: the fine Executive Directors!

This six hour learning and sharing opportunity will:

  • offer trends and national movements in teen pregnancy prevention
  • explore who and where you are in your role as a leader of your teen pregnancy group/coalition
  • motivate, help you create new visions for your work/organization
  • explore components of organizational sustainability beyond just money
  • address your relevant organizational issues and concerns
In addition, if you have specific organizational issues or problems you need help or support with, please briefly describe the concern and send it to Kay at APPCNC and we will work it in to the agenda.
